Economic relations, with the strengthening of cooperation between the two regions particularly on the front of energy supply from green sources; logistics, with the signing of bilateral agreements to accelerate the transit of goods from the Adriatic to 'continental Europe; immigration, with the strengthening of dialogue oriented to counter irregular flows. These are the topics discussed between the governor of Fvg, Massimiliano Fedriga, and the Head of the State Chancellery as well as Minister of Federal Affairs and Media Relations of Bavaria, Florian Herrmann. The meeting took place this morning at the State Chancellery in Munich, with the regional councillor for Infrastructure and Territory, Cristina Amirante, and the Consul General of Italy in Munich, Sergio Maffettone.

Fedriga and Herrmann agreed on the "great potential offered by the development of the North Adriatic Hydrogen Valley, which would represent an essential vector to guarantee sap, in terms of clean and economically sustainable energy, to the needs of a territory, the Bavarian one, protagonist of a multi-year plan of investments on hi-tech amounting to 3.5 billion euros." For applied research, Fedriga stressed the opportunity to "set up a bilateral technical table to actively involve Bavaria in participating in the Big Science Business Forum, with the aim of carving out a leading role for it in the edition Trieste in 2024." As for transportation, he called for "the extension to the Bavarian state of agreements to lighten bureaucratic burdens and speed up the transit of goods, based on the model of the customs corridor between Trieste and Villach, approved in December last year." Finally, Fedriga and Herrmann agreed on the need to define a common European policy on migrants, which is "inescapably aimed at countering entry irregular, adopting an approach marked by maximum pragmatism towards non-EU countries whose support is essential in the flow containment phase."
