Nidec Asi, part of the Motion &
Energy division of the Nidec Group, will be a partner of the
Siot, the Italian Company for the Transalpine Pipeline, in the
Tal pipeline efficiency project, which transports oil from
Trieste to Austria, Germany and the Czech Republic, and supplies
eight refineries in central Europe with 753 km of pipeline.
Nidec Asi has been entrusted with the supply of 13
medium-voltage asynchronous motors. The new motors - informs a
statement - model ET 900 V2, will reach a rated power of 3600 kW
with an increase of 20 percent compared to the current
infrastructure motors and will be intended for the Italian oil
pumping stations in Trieste, Cavazzo, and Paluzza.
The installation of the engines is scheduled for 2024, and
this phase," the statement adds, "of close collaboration with
the Oem of the pumps and the operations functions of the Tal
group, will be speeded up by the adaptation of the engine's
dimensions in the ground placement and all machine power
interfaces.
