El Pais, the US ready to reduce missiles in Romania,Bulgaria
Renunciation of Tomahawk cruise missiles and Aegis system

(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 2 - The United States proposes to Russia a
mutual reduction of the missile arsenal in Europe through
negotiations that also lead to new treaties. Among the
proposals, the most important is the renunciation of Tomahawk
cruise missiles in the Nato bases in Romania and Bulgaria, which
host the Aegis system. In exchange, Moscow would have to do the
same in two Russian bases of its choice. El Pais reported,
underlining that it has come into possession of the response of
the US and Nato to the Russian requests on security guarantees.
