(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEP 17 - Ljubljana is among the seven
shortlisted European cities competing for the title of the '2022
European Capital of Smart Tourism', the European Commission has
announced, the Slovenian news agency STA reported today. The
other cities competing for the title are Bordeaux, Copenhagen,
Dublin, Florence, Palma de Mallorca and Valencia. The two
winners, which will prevail based on the success as tourism
destinations focusing on accessibility, sustainability,
digitalisation, cultural heritage and creativity, will be
announced in November. The winning cities will receive in 2022
communication support that will help promote their brands, STA
