Prologue at the Italian Institute of Culture

(ANSA) - PORDENONE, SEP 9 - The 23rd Pordenonelegge, a
festival from 14 to 18 September, began "on the doorstep of
history" with the Prague Preview, focusing this year on current
events. "Prague Myth, Prague Reality. Crossroads of memory
between history and literature" was the topic of the dialogue
hosted at the Italian Cultural Institute in the Czech capital.
Protagonists were author, translator, and executive director of the Vaclav Havel Library, Michael Žantovskì, and Italian writer Emanuele Trevi. An event strongly desired by Fondazione Pordenonelegge and its president, Michelangelo Agrusti, who told of his ties to Prague, Vaclav Havel, and the years of the Velvet Revolution. (ANSA).
