15 December, 12:24
(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 15 DIC - Foreign citizens will not enter Serbia without a negative PCR test carried out no later than 48 hours before entry. Serbian citizens will instead be able to enter the country without first having undergone the test but will have to stay in quarantine, which they can interrupt once they decide to take the test. Serbian daily Politika reported today.

The Minister of Labor, Employment, Veterans and Social Policies, Darija Kisic-Tepavcevic - according to the newspaper - said that the government would enforce these restrictive measures from December 20. and they will probably last until January 10, depending on the epidemiological situation. The test will be necessary for all foreign citizens, regardless of the country of origin. "As for our citizens - the minister explained - the Constitution guarantees them to enter the country. If they do not have a negative PCR test, they will have to stay in mandatory home isolation for ten days." (ANSA).
