(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 1 - The breeding of Lipizzaner horses gets
Unesco recognition. ANSA found this by attending the 17th
session of the Committee on Intangible Cultural Heritage in
Rabat, Morocco, until tomorrow and chaired by Italian Pier Luigi
Petrillo. The recognition of the Lipizzaner horses, Unesco
underlined, is a nomination multinational that gives light to a
very ancient but still alive that unites different peoples with
a shared cultural identity connected to the love of animals. In
the hall, among the participants, was the Italian ambassador to
Unesco, Massimo Riccardo. Great applause welcomed the
recognition. (ANSA).
