(ANSA) - BOLZANO, 18 DIC - To slow down the pandemic, Austria
goes towards the third total lockdown, after those in spring and
November. Austrian media reported that the
government this afternoon will discuss in a videoconference with
the Laender whether to stop the whole country again from
December 27 to January 10. In this case, they would close shops
and public places, and there would be a 24/7 curfew.
Despite opposition from some Laender, even the reopening of the
ski resorts, scheduled for December 24, would be postponed.
Today's talks will also include a new mass screening in January.
