Pope Francis said Friday he would
make a "peace pilgrimage" in the coming weeks to South Sudan
with Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby and the Moderator of
the Church of Scotland, Jim Wallace.
"Let us pray that it inspires the Christians of South Sudan and
the world to be promoters of reconciliation, weavers of concord,
able to say no to the perverse and useless spiral of violence
and arms," Francis told an audience of the Anglican-Roman
Catholic International Commission (ARCIC).
