Anfield on Thursday in the first leg of their last-eight tie
thanks to a double by Italy forward Gianluca Scamacca and a goal
by Croatian midfielder Mario Pasalic.
AS Roma have the upper hand in their quarter-final against AC
Milan after winning 1-0 at San Siro.
Italy defender Gianluca Mancini was on target again, heading in
the decisive goal in the first half after also scoring the
winner in Saturday's 1-0 victory over Lazio in the Rome derby.
