COVID ward occupancy is up over the
last 24 hours in 14 regions, and has risen as high as 42% in
Calabria, the regional health service agency AGENAS said
Tuesday.
Nationwide, the rate is steady at 29% compared to Monday, the
agency said.
It is up in Abruzzo (30%), Calabria (42%), Friuli (31%), Lazio
(28%), Liguria (40%), Lombardy (35%), Marche (28%), Molise
(14%), Bolzano (19%), Trento (26%), Puglia (22%), Siciy (36%),
Tuscany (26%) and Veneto (26%).
It is down in Val d'Aosta (down 17% to 52%) and Basilicata (at
25%).
It is steady in Campania (29%), Emilia Romagna (27%), Piedmont
(30%), Sardinia (15%), and Umbria (33%).
Calabria, Friuli, Liguria, Lombardy, Sicily, Val d'Aosta, and
Umbria are all over 30%.
Intensive care unit (ICU) COVID occupancy is steady across Italy
at 18% but is up in five regions: Campania (13%), Friuli (24%),
Marche (25%), Puglia (13%), and Tuscany (24%).
It is down in Abruzzo (19%), Calabria (18%), Molise (3%), and
Bolzano (16%).
It is steady in Basilicata (3%), Emilia Romagna (17%), Lazio
(22%), Liguria (19%), Lombardy (15%), Trento (23%), Piedmont
(23%), Sardinia (14%), Sicily (20%), Umbria (14%), Val d'Aosta
(24%), and Veneto (18%).
Seven regions are above the 20% threshold: Friuli, Lazio,
Marche, Trento, Tuscany, Piedmont, and Val d'Aosta
