(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 5 - An Italian pharmaceuticals manager got
nine years in jail Monday, cut from 12 and a half at the
first-instance trial a year ago, for drugging and raping a
21-year female student he had lured to his Milan apartment on
the promise of an internship in May 2021.
Antonio Di Fazio is also a defendant in a separate trial on
charges of drugging and abusing another five women including his
ex-wife.
Di Fazio, 51, was found guilty of slipping a benzodiazepine into
his victim's drink and then raping her.
Di Fazio took photos of his naked and unconscious victims after
abusing them, police have said.
He has been in a psychiatric facility since February last year,
under house arrest.
He is suffering from severe personality disorder. (ANSA).
