Former Clean Hands prosecutor
Piercamillo Davigo was indicted Thursday on charges of revealing
official secrets in a case where magistrate Piero Amaro spoke of
an alleged "Hungary Lodge" at the judiciary's self-governing
body, the Supreme Council of Magistrates (CSM).
Davigo, a former CSM councillor, was sent to trial in Brescia on
the 30th anniversary of the start of the Clean Hands probes
which brought down Italy's political establishment in the early
1990s.
