Italy beat Poland 1-0 away on
Sunday to avert relegation from League A of the UEFA Nations
League and keep their hopes of reaching the final four alive.
Cristiano Biraghi slid in to score from close range after a
flick on from a corner to earn Roberto Mancini's side a deserved
victory - their first in a competitive game in over a year.
The Azzurri hit the crossbar twice in the first half and
failed to convert several clear chances after the break too.
