(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 1 - Mick Fleetwood sad he was proud of
Team Europe's winning lineup after securing the decisive point
that regained the Ryder Cup on Sunday.
"I can't wait to see the rest of the lads, the captain, the vice
captains, our wives, our families and the staff," said the
Englishman.
"I'm happy and proud. We have a fantastic group of people. We
are a huge family and the links you make here last a lifetime.
It's simply fantastic".
Asked what he felt after first securing the decisive half to
push Europe to the winning line of 14 and a half points and then
contributing a full point to a 16.5-11.5 victory, Fleetwood
said: "I feel relief, pride, joy. (Captain) Luke Donald is
fantastic. We are all proud of him, He was great from the
