(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 17 - The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has
launched an international coalition to promote tolerance, the
'Global Tolerance Alliance', at Expo 2020 Dubai.
The platform to bring together religious leaders, governments
and the public in this mission was presented by UAE Minister for
Tolerance and Coexistence Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan during
the Global Interfaith Summit at the Italy Pavilion at Expo 2020
Dubai.
This was held on November 16, the International Day of
Tolerance.
"The United Arab Emirates is about to celebrate the jubilee of
50 years of experience as a peaceful, prosperous nation where
over 200 nationalities live in harmony," Minister Nahyan said.
"Tolerance is vital for human enrichment". (ANSA).
