Zeno d'Agostino is the second Italian to hold the position

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, NOV 8 - The highest-ranking organization
for harbors on a continental scale, the European Sea Ports
Organization (Espo), has appointed Zeno d'Agostino, who has been
running the port of Trieste since 2015, as its new president.
Representatives from the 23 countries that are part of the Association all voted for D'Agostino at the General Assembly, which was held in Brussels. D'Agostino replaces Annaleena Makila. (ANSA).
