Plenkovich, after visiting the site of the Tessa train accident
near Novska, where two trains collided, said that, according to
current data, three people were killed and 11 injured, but that
no one was in life-threatening danger and no other casualties
were reported. "Many injured people are Croatian citizens and
many are foreigners," Plenkovich confirmed, noting that
information about them can be obtained from the Red Cross in
Novska, Hina reported. The accident occurred when, according to
unofficial information from Croatian media, a passenger train
ran a red light and hit a freight train that had stopped due to
a breakdown in the town of Rajich. (ANSA).
