Subsidiary's union calls for wage negotiations

(ANSA) - BERLIN, 15 AGO - A new front could open for
Lufthansa management. The Ufo union of the cabin crew of the
subsidiary Eurowings Discover wants to "take action" if wage
negotiations will not open by the end of August. Dpa reported.
Eurowings Discover has about 1,300 employees and offers mainly long-haul travel to vacation destinations. A Lufthansa spokeswoman pointed to wage increases and contract extensions already decided on starting in September. The airline would also support the creation of an employee council, as requested by the union. However, Lufthansa would not comment on upcoming dates for wage negotiations. (ANSA).
