(ANSA) - BELGRADE, DEC 2 - Voters in 47 of Slovenia's 212
municipalities where mayors were not elected in the first round
of local elections on November 20 will go to the polls on
Sunday, according to the Slovenian news agency STA. Sunday will
be the final voting day in what has been dubbed a
"super-election year," with Slovenians going to the polls in
2022 for presidential, parliamentary, and referendum elections.
STA said that the run-off elections in six urban municipalities,
especially in Maribor, Nova Gorica, and Celje, will be the most
relevant. (ANSA).
