The UK Ministry of Defence said
in its latest intelligence update today that intense fighting
continued over the weekend in both the Kremina and Bakhmut
sectors of the Donbas front. In the face of continued Wagner
Group assaults, the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) almost
certainly maintained positions in Soledar, north of Bakhmut, as
of Sunday. Russia and Ukraine have made hard-fought but limited
gains in various sectors over the last six weeks.
