(ANSA) - BERGAMO, NOV 24 - "The first step that was taken concretely yesterday in Brussels by the representatives of Kosovo and Serbia comes a day after our visit with Defense Minister Guido Crosetto. We encouraged the parties to overcome obstacles and facilitate the first agreement". Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said, commenting on the deal on license plates reached between Serbia and Kosovo.

'"I keep in contact with President Vucic and Prime Minister Kurti. Even today, I talked to them so that we can, after the first step, take other steps to ensure stability in the Balkans - he added on the sidelines of the ANCI national assembly in Bergamo - Italy wants to be the protagonist of peace in the Balkans because they are a European region because it is a region where Italy is well known, and where there is a consistent presence of the Italian military."
