Croatia: inflation up 12.3% in July

Highest rate ever registered in the country

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, AUG 17 - Croatian consumer prices increased by 12.3% year on year in July, following an increase of 12.1% in June, according to the national statistical office, local media reported. According to the Croatian news agency Hina, this is the country's highest inflation rate since the statistics bureau began keeping records. Food and non-alcoholic beverages, which account for 25.93% of the consumer basket, increased by 18.3% year on year in July. (ANSA).
