The Wartsila table, chaired by Undersecretary Fausta Bergamotto, with company representatives, the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, and social partners met at the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy. A statement from the ministry reports that "during the meeting, the company updated the participants on the path of searching for new industrial subjects." Therefore, the following table will be on April 18, when Wartsila will present its assessments of the offers received and the related industrial development plan.

"The first hypothesis," Uilm's territorial secretary Antonio Rodà had previously explained, "is linked to a Lombard company in the automotive sector, with annual sales of 400 million euros and production sites in several countries, which deals with large prints such as car dashboards and other components. The second hypothesis concerns a company that employs 1,700 people with 275 m in annual turnover, which produces silos for the agricultural sector, for liquids and activities related to Oil & Gas." These characteristics could lead back to Austria's Christof Industries, whose name had been circulating on the eve of the table. "Finally, the third hypothesis involves a company that makes electrolyzers for hydrogen production that would act as a joint venture with a large Asian Multinational related to alternative energy production," possibly Mitsubishi.
