Autovie Venete, heavy traffic on highways on Christmas

(ANSA) - UDINE, 21 DIC - Heavy traffic starting today on the
highway network managed by Autovie Venete ahead of the Christmas
holidays. According to the concessionaire's forecast, the
carriageway of the A4 toward Trieste will be particularly
affected.
A day of heavy traffic is also expected on Friday, December 23, along the Venice-Trieste route due to the return of heavy vehicles and workers from Central and Eastern Europe to their countries for winter holidays.
Meanwhile, the section of the A34 highway between the Villesse and Gradisca interchanges toward Gorizia, which had been closed for pavement repair work, was reopened last night. (ANSA).
