Italy's FM Tajani says migration should be a European issue
Yes to migrant flows and integrating skilled migrant workers
30 November, 16:19 (ANSAmed) - BUCHAREST, 30 NOV - "This (Italian) government
wants to welcome migrants who can integrate themselves in our
country and those who are fleeing from war". These are the words
of Antonio Tajani, Italy's Minister of Foreign Affairs, at the
end of the NATO ministerial meeting in Bucharest, in Romania.
"We do not want irregular migration or flows that are only destined to Italy. We have reiterated once again that the issue of migration must be shared with all of Europe", specified the Minister. "The government is thinking of a strategy to make the current legislation on migration flows more effective with a view to integrating people in our country who are already skilled in a trade". (ANSAmed).
