Moldova: Shor, new protests against Government and President
Referral to Constitution Court to declare Party unconstitutional
13 November, 19:57 (ANSA) - TRIESTE, 13 NOV - Supporters of the Shor political
party carry a more than 250 meters long printed flag, during
their protest in downtown Chisinau, Moldova, 13 November 2022.
Protests continue against the government and president Sandu asking for their demission and accusing them of incompetence and being responsible for an inefficient economy, inflation and a rapid increase of prices. The Cabinet of Ministers approved the draft Government decision for the verification of the constitutionality of the Shor Party. A referral will be sent to the Constitutional Court requesting the Shor Party to be declared unconstitutional. (ANSA).
