Lithuania: possible restriction on visa for Russian citizens

(ANSA) - VILNIUS, 13 AGO - Lithuania is considering changing
visa regime for Russian citizens. Foreign Ministry annouced it
in a statement.
Estonia, Latvia and Finland are in favor of a severe restriction on the granting of tourist visas for Russian citizens. In Estonia visa validity regime will change as of August 18th.
Lithuania will shortly decide whether and how to apply rules similar to Estonia. The maximum effectiveness of these rules would be in the case of the adoption of a common policy for the granting of visas at European level, statement reported. (ANSA).
