Industrial production up by 2.1% in euro area
Strong increases in Germany (+3.4%) and Slovenia (+3.1%)

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, DEC 14 - In October 2020, the seasonally
adjusted industrial production rose by 2.1% in the euro area and
by 1.9% in the EU, compared with September 2020, Eurostat said
today. In October 2020 compared with October 2019, industrial
production decreased by 3.8% in the euro area and by 3.1% in the
EU. Compared with September 2020, the highest increases were
registered in Belgium (+6.9%), Germany (+3.4%) and Slovenia
(+3.1%). The largest decreases were observed in Denmark (-5.8%),
Greece (-3.0%) and Lithuania (-1.7%). (ANSA).
