If the number of intensive care patients reaches 500

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, OCT 23 - Austria is threatening unvaccinated citizens with lockdown if intensive care capacity show signs of increased pressure, Deutsche Welle reported.

"The pandemic is not yet in the rearview mirror" and "we are about to stumble into a pandemic of the unprotected," Austrian Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg said. "Should the number of intensive care patients reach 500 — or 25% of the country's capacity — entrance to businesses like bars and restaurants will be limited to those who are vaccinated," DW informed.
