(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 27 - Tennis great Novak Djokovic, Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz and former soccer players Gareth Bale and Andriy Shevchenko are among the participants at an All Star Match Wednesday that has been organized to whet fans' appetites for the 2023 Ryder Cup.
    The match is taking place today at Rome's Marco Simone Golf & Country Club, two days before golf's epic battle between Europe and the United States kicks off at the course - the first time Italy has hosted the event.
    Italian golf officials hope the Italian edition will boost the sport in the country, which is still confined to the better-off who can access a very limited number of courses in the Bel Paese. (ANSA).
