Italy's Alberto Dainese on Wednesday notched the first Italian stage win in this year's Giro d'Italia, winning the 203 km 11th stage from Santarcangelo di Romagna to Reggio Emilia.
    The Team DSM rider beat Fernando Gaviria of UAE Team Emirates into second place with Simone Consonni of Cofidis third.
    Spain's Juan Pedro Lopez kept the leader's pink jersey.
