AC Milan beat basement side Salernita
2-0 at San Siro on Saturday to take the Serie A top spot while
Napoli, who went into the weekend's action as leaders, dropped
to third with a 3-2 home defeat to Atalanta.
Champions Inter thumped AS Roma 3-0 in the capital to move up to
second place.
Milan have 38 points from 16 games, one point more than Inter
and two more than Napoli.
Atalanta are two points further back in fourth.
Juventus, who have had rocky season so far, are fifth with 27
points after being strugglers Genoa 2-0 in Turin on Sunday.
