(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 2 - The government's cutting healthcare
spending again in the NADEF economic blueprint update is
extremely serious, centre-left opposition Democratic Party (PD)
leader Elly Schlein said Monday.
"Giorgia Meloni's government continues to cut the national
health service while one in five Italians give up treatment
because of the crisis," she said.
"The state of public health care is forcing more and more
Italians not to seek treatment, and the government's response is
to cut funds again: a very serious and incomprehensible attitude
that we will not allow to pass over in silence.
"All people must know that Meloni while looking for an enemy a
day is dismantling our right to health piece by piece". (ANSA).
