Nearly 5.2 billion euros' worth of
Italy's new Btp Valore treasury bond reserved exclusively for
small investors were snapped up on the second day of the offer
on Tuesday, taking to over 10.6 billion euros the total value of
orders placed in two days.
On the launch day on Monday 5.45 billion euros in orders were
made.
The four-year Btp Valore has a yield of 3.25% in the first two
years and of 4% in the third and fourth and a 0.5% loyalty
premium for those holding it to maturity.
The bond issue is due to end on Friday.
