(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 25 - Italy's Charlene Guignard and Marco
Fabbri took silver in ice dance in the ISU World Figure Skating
Championships in Saitama, Japan, on Saturday, claiming the first
world championship medal of their career and Italy's fifth in
the discipline in absolute terms.
The pair held onto second place in their free routine after
putting up a strong performance in Friday's rhythm dance,
finishing with 219.85 points overall.
The ice dance world title went to Americans Madison Chock and
Evan Bates, and Canada's Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier came
