The meeting focused on "Synchrotron Radiation Training Educational and Internship Programs for the Western Balkans" available at Elettra.

The renowned Italian center also presented scholarships and traineeships for Ph.D. students and researchers from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"Italy is a great political, economic and even cultural partner of Bosnia and Herzegovina - Italy's ambassador to BiH Nicola Minasi told ANSA - and in today's initiative, we aim to describe in particular the collaboration in applied research in the nuclear sector." "This is also a sign of Italy's will to become a partner for the technological and scientific development of all the Balkans, which is necessary - Minasi underlined - if we want to create a sustainable, well-grounded and successful exchange with the countries of the Region within the European integration process."
