Young Croats leave parental home much later than EU average
Also Slovaks remain longer with parents

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 14 MAG - Young adults in Croatia are the
ones in the European Union that move out at an oldest age from
the parental home, according to data made public by Eurostat
today.
Croats aged 25 to 34 leave home at an average age of 31.8, followed by Slovaks (30.9), the EU statistical office said.
Young adults in Malta (30.7 years), Italy (30.1 years), Bulgaria (29.6 years), Spain (29.5 years), Greece (29.3 years) and Portugal (28.9 years) also remained at the parental home longer than the EU average (approximately 26 years of age). In 2017, the share of young people aged 25 to 34 who were living with their parents ranged from 3.2% in Denmark, Finland (4.7%) and Sweden (6.0%) to more than half in Croatia (59.7%), Slovakia (57.0%) and Greece (56.3%), Eurostat added.
