Czech Republic: online shopping is growing
Annual increase between 15 and 18%, according to estimate

(ANSA) - UDINE, SEPT. 19 - Online shopping is growing in the
Czech Republic. According to estimates by the Association of
Electronic Commerce, the Czech citizens could spend more than
5.2 bn euros on shopping online this year, with an annual
increase between 15 and 18%, Czech Radio - Radio Praha reported.
In the first half of this year, spending on internet purchases was about 2,023 million, 11% more than the same period last year. The peak of internet sales is expected during the week from 10 to 16 December. In the period before Christmas, a total expenditure of about 1,730 million euros has been predicted.(ANSA).
