(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, 18 SET - European Commissioner for Enlargement, Johannes Hahn, called on Macedonian citizens to go vote at the referendum of 30th September on the new name of the former Yugoslavian country (Republic of Northern Macedonia)."The door to the European Union is open, but you will decide whether to take advantage of this opportunity or not, every vote counts", EU Commissioner said.

Hahn added "citizens have the unique opportunity to shape their own future and that of their country. It's a generational choice, there is no time to waste,". The agreement signed in June between the governments of Skopje and Athens "is acknowledged by the international community and will be the guardian of your future", Hahn pointed out.(ANSA).
