Serbia: Gastrans, binding bids for link Bulgaria-Hungary

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 12 MAR - Gastrans, a subsidiary of Swiss-based company South Stream Serbia, said it has invited binding bids for booking of capacity for transit of natural gas via a future section of the TurkStream pipeline, which will connect Bulgaria and Hungary via Serbia, the specialized portal SeeNews reported. Russia's Gazprom owns a 51% stake in South Stream Serbia, while state-owned Srbijagas holds the remaining 49%, according to Gazprom data, SeeNews said.

Gazprom plans to build a northern branch of TurkStream pipeline from Turkey via Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary, the portal added.
