Cinema: Trieste Film Festival, Monica Goti new president

Succeeding Cristina Sain, Alpe Adria Cinema directorate renewed

(ANSA) - TRIESTE - Monica Goti is the new president of the cultural association Alpe Adria Cinema, which organizes the Trieste Film Festival, featuring the cinema industry of Central Eastern Europe, co-directed by Fabrizio Grosoli and Nicoletta Romeo.

Goti steps in for Cristina Sain, who has been the president for more than twenty years and cooperated with the founder of the event in Trieste, Annamaria Percavassi. Goti has a degree in Political Science and has worked for more than 10 years with the Venice Film Festival. She started working for the Trieste festival in 2005 as a programme manager and in 2015 she was elected deputy president.

The new board of directors of Alpe Adria Cinema includes Thanos Anastoupoulos, Tiziana Ciancetta, Evelyn Dewald, Fabrizio Grosoli, Tiziana Oselladore and Nicoletta Romeo. (ANSA).
