(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 21 - The seven-millionth copy of Skoda
Octavia was produced at the Mladá Boleslav plant. The history of
this model began in 1959, but it is from the 90s that Octavia,

began its international success story. During 2019, the carmaker
delivered 363,700 units worldwide and on the occasion of the
60th model's anniversary, the company presented the 4th

400,000 Octavia (sedan and wagon) were produced. In 1996, at the
Paris Auto Show, the brand presented the modern generation of
Octavia, the first model after joining the VW group (total
production 1,440,000 units). The second generation was presented
at the 2004 Geneva Motor Show (approximately 2,500,000 units)
and the third arrived in 2012 and was also produced in Ukraine
