(ANSA) - TRIESTE, SEPT. 21 - The universities that are partners in the ''Beat'' project coordinated by ConCentro - special company run by the Pordenone Chamber of Commerce - will give a lecture on sustainable technological development in the field of sea economy on September 28, as part of the Rijeka Nautical Show (Croatia) organized by the Rijeka Economy Chamber, the Pordenone This was Chamber of Commerce announced.

During the Show, two events are aimed at companies in the shipping industry in the framework of the ''Beat'' (Blue enhancement action for technology transfer) project (first call for proposals Interreg V Italy-Croatia 2014-2020 Standard Plus) and coordinated by Veneto Unioncamere. The goal of the Beat project is to foster innovation, networking and the exchange of good practices between Italian and Croatian companies, in order to guarantee new growth opportunities.

The ''Beat'' project - the Chamber of Commerce explained - is intended to develop shipbuilding and strengthen the relations between companies and research centres in the Adriatic area, through the collaboration of six cross-border partners, in addition to ConCentro: Veneto Unioncamere, Venice Port Authority, University of Trieste, Maritime Technology Cluster FVG, The Istrian Development Agency and the University of Rijeka.
