Turismo: Croatia most preferred destination by Austrians
Italy second in ranking among Austrian tourists, Spain third

(ANSA) - BELGRADE - Croatia is the most preferred touristic
destination among Austrian tourists, according to a survey of
the Austrian national moto-club, ÖAMTC, the Croatian Tourist
Board informs today.
According to survey, based on the opinions of 800 respondents, the second preferred destinations by Austrians is currently Italy, followed by Spain, while 18% of respondents said to prefer to spend holidays in Austria.
"This is a great news for the Croatian tourism, as the Austrian market is extremely important, with Austrians spending almost eight million overnights every year" in Croatia, Croatian Tourist Board director Kristjan Stanicic said. (ANSA).
