Several personal effects of
Italian philosopher and poet Giacomo Leopardi will go on display
in a permanent exhibit opening March 11 at the former oil mill
at Palazzo Leopardi in Recanati.
The exhibition includes objects such as Leopardi's pen and
inkwell, his crib and baptismal gown, and some childhood toys.
On April 15 there will be a screening of an immersive video
made by Giancarlo Muselli, set designer on the 2014 film
Leopardi; and Leopardi scholar Fabiana Cacciapuoti.
