Some pylons on viaducts on the
A24 and A25 motorways linking Lazio and Abruzzo are in an
"alarming" state, Transport Minister Danilo Toninelli said
Tuesday.
"Some pylons on the viaducts of the A24 and A25, which I have
been able to inspect with my own eyes, are in such degraded
conditions as to be alarming," said the minister.
Toninelli was addressing the assembly of Italian construction
firms association ANCE.
On August 14 in Genoa, pylons on the Morandi Bridge gave way,
killing 43 people.
